There are many qualities and lessons we can learn from David. He is not perfect, but yet he was considered to be a man after God's own heart.

In life it is easy to say we are a follower of Christ, but it is often a different story to walk the walk. Life is full of distractions that allow us to slip in our walk with Christ.

God has many ways that I believe he uses the Holy Spirit to speak to us today. Sometimes it is through an idea or thought that we can't seem to shake, or a feeling that we can't "run" away from.

As we go through life as a follower of Christ, we will face many different struggles and trials, and we will be called to be a leaders. And at times, we may not even see or hear the call for us to step into a leadership role.

Again we find another person that God, through his weakness, was able to do extraordinary things. And in a lot of ways, we can relate to Gideon. When living in our weaknesses we overlook the power of God that is with us.

I think that we all have at some point in our lives struggled with serving two Masters. And if we were honest, we may even say that we have at times attempted to serve several Masters. I don't think that we do this intentionally, and at times we may not even know what exactly we are doing.

So often times, we may be called to start a journey to serve God with divine purpose. I believe that we all have gifts, talents, and skills that God has blessed us with, and he has a plan and purpose for each of us to live out.

At some point in our lives, we have all been called by Christ to repent of our sins and follow him. And once we begin to follow him, life does not get easier, but it often times becomes even tougher than we could imagine.

I know that going through life we have all had our shares of setbacks. Whether they were finical struggles, health issues, family relationships, or spiritual stumbling; we have all seen and experienced something that has made us fearful about our future.

In our lives, I believe we all have a person that paved a way for us to enter into a relationship with Christ. Maybe it was our parents, a family member, a good friend, or a complete stranger. No matter who it was, Our relationship with Christ started with a seed that someone planted.

You cannot look into the future. You do not know what is going to happen to-morrow; in fact, you do not know what may happen before night; so it is much better to surrender in to the loving hands of our Father.
